Part Information

Part information is accessed following a product search.  The information includes model and part information.

How to view unit info

  1. Complete a search at the model level.  Model level searches include model number, serial number, sales order number, and type/device number searches. 

 

  1. Once the center pane populates, access the header containing the model number (active by default upon initial access of the center pane). 

 

  1. Click the radio button to the left of Unit Info.  This feature is selected by default when first viewing the model information header.

How to view literature

  1. Complete a search at the model level.  Model level searches include model number, serial number, sales order number, and type/device number searches. 

 

  1. Once the center pane populates, access the header containing the model number (active by default upon initial access of the center pane). 

 

  1. Click the radio button to the left of Prod Lit. 

 

 

  1. Select the appropriate literature type in the Literature Type Filter dropdown menu.  The product literature based on the model number and literature type selected displays in chart form. 
  1. Click the icon to select and view a PDF copy of the selected individual product literature.

 

How to view warranty information

  1. Complete a serial number or sales order number search. 

 

  1. Once the center pane populates, access the header containing the model number (active by defaults upon initial access of the center pane). 

 

  1. Click the radio button to the left of Sales Order Number. 

 

 

  1. Use the icons to view various warranty types.  Links are provided to residential and light commercial extended warranty as well as residential product registration databases. 

 

How to view Sales Order Number information

  1. Complete a serial number or sales order number search.

How to view a list of parts

  1. Perform a product search and drill down to the Parts List area (click the Parts List header to display). 

 

  1. Click the Parts List header.  A complete list of parts display.

How to export part list

  1. Perform a product search and drill down to the Parts List area.  Drill down to assembly or sub-assembly as needed to narrow the part list. 

 

  1. Once the appropriate scope of parts is listed in the center pane, click the icon. 

 

  1. The parts list populates in a spreadsheet that can be saved as a .csv file.    

 

How to view part details

  1. Perform a product search and drill down to the Parts List area (click the Parts List header to display). 

 

  1. Click the linked part number to display part details.

 

  1. Click the Part Details tab (if needed) to view at-a-glance part specification, inventory, and pricing information.

NOTE: WCR can be accessed at any time by clicking the Warranty Credit Request (WCR) link in the global header. 

NOTE: The Call for Price option allows you to locate and obtain directions to stores that supply the selected part.  Click the linked Call for Price text to open the Store Locator feature. 

 

How to view superseded chain information

  1. Perform a product search and drill down to the Parts List area (click the Parts List header to display). 

 

  1. Click the linked part number to display part details. 

 

  1. Click the Supersede tab.  Information regarding part specification and inventory information displays for the selected part and current substitutions. 
  1. Click the appropriate part number(s) at left to view part, pricing, and inventory information for the substitution. 

 

How to view reverse information

  1. Perform a product search and drill down to the Parts List area (click the Parts List header to display). 

 

  1. Click the linked part number to display part details.

 

  1. Click the Reverse tab.  Information regarding part specification and inventory information displays for the selected part and reverse substitutions. 
  1. Click the appropriate part number(s) at left to view part, pricing, and inventory information for the substitution. 

 

How to view where used information

  1. Perform a product search and drill down to the Parts List area (click the Parts List header to display). 

 

  1. Click the linked part number to display part details. 

 

  1. Click the Where Used tab.  A list displays that contains all models in which the items can be used.  Clicking the linked model number repopulates the Product Search area with the selected model number.

How to view Recommended Items information

  1. Perform a product search and drill down to the Parts List area (click the Parts List header to display). 

 

  1. Click the linked part number to display part details. 

 

  1. Click the Recommended Items tab.  A list of parts frequently purchased with your current part selections display.   

 

How to add to WCR form

  1. Perform a product search and drill down to the Parts List area (click the Parts List header to display).

 

  1. Click the linked part number to display part details. 

 

  1. Click the icon.  The part number is carried over to the WCR form and pre-populated along with user information.

 

NOTE: WCR can be accessed at any time by clicking the Warranty Credit Request (WCR) link in the global header. 

 

How to check availability

  1. Perform a product search and drill down to the Parts List area (click the Parts List header to display).

 

  1. Click the linked part number to display part details. 

 

  1. Click the icon.  The Availability pop-up window (view-only) opens, displaying suppliers and available quantities regarding the selected part. 

 

How to add to cart

  1. Perform a product search and drill down to the Parts List area (click the Parts List header to display). 

 

  1. Select the required part numbers (click the checkboxes to select).  Once all appropriate selections are made, click the icon.  The part(s) can be seen in the shopping cart (located in the lower right of the Parts & Supplies page).   

NOTE: Parts & Supplies provides a Recommended Items feature that displays parts complementing your current selection.  The parts displayed are those frequently purchased with your current part selections.  Click the icon to add the part to your cart, or click the No Thanks button to skip the feature. 

How to print part details

  1. Perform a product search and drill down to the Parts List area (click the Parts List header to display). 

 

  1. Click the linked part number to display part details. 

 

  1. Either print the details for the selected part or the parts list.
